Jason Gillespie & the Double Tons
“One of the best cricket-infused jazz-pop bands I've heard!”

Formed somewhere between the crease and the bar, Jason Gillespie & The Double Tons bring together two great Australian institutions: music and cricket.
The band blends upbeat grooves, tasty hooks, catchy melodies and tongue-in-cheek lyricism: music equally suited to summer beer gardens, local pubs and sun-soaked festivals.

The band’s name pays tribute to one of the most unlikely sporting feats of all time: Jason Gillespie’s legendary 201* as nightwatchman vs. Bangladesh in 2006.

Like their namesake, Jason Gillespie & The Double Tons appear laid-back and unassuming, only to quietly deliver far more than expected.
